The Barn at Bent Apple Farm // Londonderry, Vermont
First up we have the spectacular Barn at Bent Apple Farm. This 200 year old reclaimed barn is an absolute masterpiece! Outfitted with a kitchen full of top of the line appliances, an incredibly impressive wood stove, a hot tub AND a sauna, this place has it all. Located in the heart of the Green Mountains, this spot is the perfect place to getaway, Spring, Summer, Fall, or Winter!
2. A Black A-Frame // Kerhonkson, New York
Now I’m sure most of you have seen this cabin somewhere before as it boasts a pretty solid following on Instagram. And I’m here to tell you it absolutely lives up to the hype. The interior design of it and that wall of windows in the open dining room are seriously gorgeous. Being as it is located in the Catskills it has got a ton to do in the area as well so you’re never bored.
3. Tanglebloom Cabin // Newfane, Vermont
Now this one is special. I’ve been lucky enough to visit the Tanglebloom Cabin twice now and both times have felt like a dream. It is a screened in cabin, so only rented Spring through Fall, but what an experience! You are surrounded by the forest, sleeping in a super comfortable bed, with only a screen and roof encompassing you. It’s such an incredible feeling, one that I think everyone should experience.
4. Green Mountain Modern House // Jamaica, Vermont
The Green Mountain Modern House is truly something to marvel at. The modern and contemporary design and furnishings really give it a one of a kind feeling to it. That wall of windows and wood stove combination just can’t be beat!
5. The Saltbox Lodge // Windham, New York
Another goodie that I have gotten to visit multiple times, so you know this one is good in all seasons! Each season has its own allure to it. Located just 5 minutes from Windham Mountain, this is the perfect basecamp for a ski trip. Not a skier? S’now problem. The foliage in the Catskills is some of the best around! Spend your days chasing some color and then come pack to have a campfire and hang in the deck hammock, a perfect day if you ask me.
6. Fox Glove Farm Cabin // Brandon, Vermont
An idyllic Vermont farm getaway. Mark and Catherine are the nicest of hosts and go above and beyond to make their guests as happy as can be. Including welcoming them with some of their homemade maple syrup and farm fresh eggs. This cabin sits on a beautiful property and it offers just the most perfect getaway imaginable.
7. Vermont Retreat Cottage // Putney, Vermont
And last but most certainly not least we have the Vermont Retreat Cottage. This safe haven is located in the quaint town of Putney, Vermont which has an abundance of things to do; swimming holes, hiking trails, a co-op, you name it! Once you’re done exploring the area you can come back and get the wood stove going, lounge on the day bed, and take in the beauty all around.
